The first full moon of the year offers a powerful opportunity to pause, reflect, and reset. Falling at the threshold of a new year, this lunar moment invites us to gently release what we are ready to leave behind and open ourselves to clarity and possibility for the path ahead. Rather than striving or fixing, we meet the new year with presence, awareness, and quiet intention.

Yin Yoga
While many yoga practices emphasize dynamic movement and muscular engagement, Yin Yoga works more subtly and deeply with the body’s “Yin” tissues - ligaments, joints, fascia, and connective tissue. Postures are held for longer periods, allowing the body to soften, the breath to slow, and the nervous system to settle. This meditative style of practice encourages stillness and introspection, creating space for insight and inner alignment.

Throughout the practice, moments of reflection will be woven in, allowing intentions for the year ahead to emerge naturally, without force or expectation. Guided awareness and breath will support a sense of grounding and clarity, helping you connect with what feels meaningful and true as you step into the new year.

Energetic Awareness
Yoga is rooted in the chakra system, which reflects different aspects of our physical, emotional, and energetic well-being. With the illuminating energy of the full moon, we gently draw attention toward the Third Eye (Ajna) center, supporting intuition, inner vision, and self-trust - qualities that can guide us forward with greater ease and confidence.
